TPSF trains disabled women in business skills

The Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) has trained members of UWAVIUTE in business skills in a bid to make their future bright.
UWAVIUTE members are disabled tailors based in Temeke District, Dar es Salaam Region.  They make garments and other household items. The members were  trained in simple bookkeeping and marketing.
The TPSF Acting Executive Director, Mr Zachy Mbenna, was instrument for giving small groups of private entrepreneurs a voice so that they could make use of local and foreign opportunities.
“We have given them free training because we want them to have a bright future, “ Mr Mbenna said, adding that successful business depended on people having right business skills.
Mr Mbenna said after the training the members would be able to do business online.
Meanwhile, the Acting Executive Director, appealed to Tanzanians to buy Tanzanian goods in order to strengthen local industries.
